Barback - Part Time

Job Summary:

 

We're seeking a diligent and attentive part-time barback to collaborate with our team in delivering seamless service to our patrons. As a crucial support to our bartenders, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth operations at the bar. Your role will involve preparing garnishes, organizing glassware, prepping fresh syrups and juices, and assisting with various tasks to uphold our standards of service excellence in a fast-paced setting. A keen understanding of our menu, coupled with a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, is essential for success in this role.

 

Duties:

 

- Assist in the efficient operation of the bar by maintaining supplies and equipment.

- Ensure adequate 'mise-en-place' of glasses, drinks, ice, and fruit.

- Retrieve stock from the storeroom following established procedures.

- Support in conducting stock checks and inventories as needed.

- Maintain equipment in optimal condition through proper usage and care.

- Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly tidying the bar, service areas, and restrooms.

- Prep fresh syrups and juices.

- Provide assistance to bartenders and fellow team members during peak service periods.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Proficiency in handling challenging situations with composure and effectiveness.

- Ability to perform efficiently, especially under pressure.

- Technical knowledge and expertise in beverages.

- Customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.

- Self-motivated with a well-organized approach to tasks.

- Honest and dependable work ethic.

- Proficient in spoken and written English.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
